Apply Snapshot in early spring before target weeds germinate, in late summer to early fall, or immediately after cultivation. Monitor weed control after application to determine if additional applications are necessary. Depending on the weeds being targeted, use 2.3 to 4.6 pounds per 1,000 square feet with a rotary spreader for a more even spread. To achieve even application, apply half of the required amount over the area, then apply the remaining half in swaths perpendicular to the first application.

APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS: Snapshot does not control established weeds. Apply before weed seeds germinate or control existing weeds using cultivation or post-emergence herbicides. Remove weed residues, prunings, and debris from the area or mix them thoroughly into the soil before treatment. Avoid making repeat applications at rates of 150 pounds per acre or higher within 60 days of the original application. Do not exceed 600 pounds per acre within a 12-month period. Do not apply Snapshot to newly transplanted ornamentals, unrooted liners, or cuttings in pots less than 4 inches wide until the soil has settled.
